Home Time

So the time has come to return home from university, with lots of R+R that we all enjoy. Its my second day back and i am making up for lost food, Waffles for breakfast and Nachos for lunch it has made it a good day on the food front. There have been lots of updates in my world since my last post

First off is my sudden and powerful Frank Turner Fever, after seeing him life in Newcastle. although i was already a fan like most artists their ability live drove me to a mild obsession, i already had Poetry of the Deed after the gig i was compelled  to buy Love Ire and Song which many had told me was the better Frank Turner album.

As a lyric and vocal driven person Frank Turners music mixes the angst and rebellion of punk with a more down to earth and realistic Intelligence. The end result is music about everyday problems and why people should not be so concerned with things that we are overly concerned about. Weather it be love, insecurity or how much we idolise celebrities its good to hear some one giving a FUCK YOU to the problems that concern our world and the people who inhabit it.

Secondly is the release of the Gold and Silver pokemon remake.

Straight away i found my self settling into the familiar gameplay that has kept people captivated with the series over the years. It is hard to talk about a pokemon series game without covering ground people already know, as it has a very evolutionary change process between games in the series making it hard to explain the complexity of the pokemon universe to a newbie but easy to pick up if you are familiar with the series.

Unlike every other game in the series Gold and Silver is the only to feature two regions Johto and Kanto(the region in pokemon red and blue), with this update to the latest pokemon generation and all the features that are included in that it has meant that pokemon Gold and Silver will boast allot of gameplay before completion ( my estimate an average of around 80 hours).

The Biggest addition to the series is that of the poke-Walker another step foward to a exercise while you game that Nintendo have adopted recently. I find it actually helps you not focus all your attention on the game, as you can train your pokemon, while you do everyday stuff (this drives me away from becoming a total social recluse), however i can see the novelty quickly wearing off.

The best thing about this update is that it has modernised what i felt was the most iconic and revolutionary game in the series (especially with the night/day real life correlation), mixing the stunning graphics and extended gameplay that where introduced in diamond and pearl with the pure magnificence of the original Gold and Silver.

Long Time, No Laptop...

Argh so basically my laptop broke, and i took it apart but it was to fiddly so basically i thought it was probably time to upgrade. Like most people with less imagination then they think i had a scout around and then just ended up buying from the DELL Studio range and it should be coming tomorrow.

There have a few things that have caught my eye recently, in the world first off is the Tron Remake, wasn't sure when or why this happened i can imagine it probably will suit the whole 3D vibe with all the pretty lights and stuff.

Next up is in Honor of the GLEE MASH UP for two reasons:
1
MARIO & Tetris to make Tuper Tario Tros which can be found here.
2
I decided to make my own attempt at doing one of my own, with songs from Xzibit and Eminem.
