End Of Exams

My Exams have ended and so has the belated celebrations that happened from then till term start are over. As i have a little time to reflect i felt i could also document the events that have happened since my last blogspot. The Weekend started with the sports night at Tiger Tiger followed by an absolutely crammed Zoo at the Cut ft. Aaron Ells (my flat mate) doing a DJ set. The Day after was Ape-X which again was heaving and a top night. The Rest of the weekend was cooperation and lazy day time, ready for a nice early start to the term.

In Music News i have three people in my head at the moment.
First of all "Angus and Julia Stone" a two piece from Australia, my admiration of them probably
spans from my love of the current Folk-Revival and a love for alternative female vocals (such as "the Do" and "Taken by Trees"), you can catch them .HERE.

The next two are sorted of related. I found "Look Mexico" on "Frank Turner's" Twitter as they collaborated on Look Mexico's new track You Stay. I Go. No Following.
It has triggered a new found love for Frank Turner, you can find Look Mexico and You Stay. I Go. No Following.
.Here.

We are still working on preparing Aaron Ells Myspace and StopMotion Banner and currently finishing my own logo design for him as he is currently recording for his e.p and getting it all tip top.

Rosie The Tour

My good friends Doug, Louis and Tommy who are all part of a 3-Piece Pop, Alternative band or as they coin it "Music you Can Dance to" are going to be playing in the Toon. For anyone paying attention to this blog i urge you to get down to the Rat and Parrot (opposite the Life Centre) on the 22nd of February to go see them play. Their mix of upbeat, dance invoking songs and an excessively hyper active front man, makes for a brilliant live performance.

As this is a Heartrock Promotions event, you will also be host to other artists including This Is Theft, Demob Happy, The Book & The Cover and entry is a measly 4 pounds.

As a little Preview you can see listen to them here:

and if your interested you can also learn about them from their
Blog or there Myspace.

Moving On Up

I have completely changed the whole look of the myspace, i felt it was time for a change, and the last one was rubbish, Check it out HERE!

I have also got the final mix of "End of An Act" which should be in the media player seen to left or on the my space you can also download it from Soundcloud
HERE!

Finally our whole flat has gone Stop Motion! Crazy, as we are creating content for Aaron Ells Myspace, based on the video seen above. We are currently piecing it together and hopefully should have something to postable pretty soon.

Cool Calm and Dead

This is definitely a geek find not sure how old it is. MadHatter (No idea) has taken Capcom's 8-bit Gunsmoke game theme song and turned into a rap.

Lack Of Updates

With allot of things happening over the winter holidays i haven't updated at all so i felt since i am lazing around at home watching Spirited Away i might as well do it. I spent my Christmas in the French Alps skiing, our flight back was delayed which meant an extra day of skiing but the following jet lag meant i was ill on the run up to New Years. I missed my lift up to Edinburgh Street Festival and forged some last ditch attempt to do something exciting in true Pateley Bridge Kids style we spent new years in a London Subway Elevator and missed the Big Change Over.

As i don't have any exciting photos or videos to show you(although the Rosie Blog should probably place a video of our new year)here is Family Guy.
