Mike Snow + House Party + Downfall of my Degree

This has been a CRAMMED week and as such, i haven't struggled to find anything to write about. because of unforeseen variables i have neglected university work for a while. I have managed to complete Mass Effect 2 and was not disappointed, putting it straight into the top 5 games i have ever played, i also finally got round to completing the first BioShock(in a day), so i can follow on with the second.

This Week has been pretty eventful we saw the amazing Mike Snow on our return to Newcastle which was probably one of the most chilled out gigs i have ever been to. The crowd didn't seem like the usual gig-goers but all in all it was a Top night.

Saturday heralded Luke's Birthday House Party at 45 Deuchar street, it got packed and quickly and Luke did a good job of getting himself good and rowdy for his welcome into his 20th year.

As a final note there are a few exciting things in my calender coming up soon:
Number 1
Visiting Alex Davies friends in st.Andrews this Weekend.
Number 2
Rosie playing at the Dog and Parrot in Newcastle.
Number 3
Me Playing at the Dog and Parrot.

I Urge you all to go to Number 2 & 3 you can find links for them here:

Plus i have 2 quotes of the week:

Matt Thompson - 'if a political system can been seen as a cake, then Sam makes a good case for being the icing.'

Mirzai - 'I really don't like her, i don't know why, oh wait yeah i do because she is an asshole.'

So as we herald in a new series of skins, to show us the errors of how we partake in being a youth of the day, i realised that enough stuff had happened to warrant a new blog post. Our most recent activity was Creep (my flat mates club night in Leeds), and as usual i managed to take harmless intoxication to a horrible level, a point well demonstrated by Grace's picture of me:

Apart from embarrassing myself with the help of Twitter on my phone, i also managed to headbutt a pole and now have a lump on my head.
As usual the Creep Residents played an awesome set and the music was top notch.

In Other news i have started writing my set list for my gig on the 27th Of February at the Dog and Parrot in Newcastle, so far its going pretty well and i am hoping that it will be top notch for when the time comes around. My good friends Rosie the band have got a website done and ready for general consumption which can be found HERE . This Saturday will be house party time at 45 Deuchar Street in honor of Luke Elliott's 20th Birthday, and we have warned the neighbours so hopefully it will run smoothly without any complaints.

As far as my Geeky side goes i have had lots of stimulation recently, i have purchased Mass Effect 2 which surpassed all expectations. Set in a Future Reality with humanity on the brink of extinction it is somewhere between Phantasy Star and Halo, blending a level and character creation based system with a third person engine that unlike most third person games is actually fun. This is another title to by Bioware that demonstrates there ability to create a unique and creative game, that can still achieve there high cult standards that they have managed with previous titles such as Jade Empire and The Forgotten Realms series.

If that wasn't enough Sega have announced project Needlemouse was the creation of Sonic 4 bringing it back to the 2D style. Just like the recent remakes of Mario for the DS and the Wii in an attempt to bring back some of the magic that was lost in there transition to 3D.

As i do not have the sufficient cranial capacity to bring this post to a witty conclusion i will leave you in the very capable hands of Leonard Nimoy:
